Chicken Kabobs with pear salad

I'm mainly posting this cause the pictures came out so nice and yummy looking. It will inspire me to make kabobs more often.

And because I bought the cutest platter at Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago, and this was the first chance I got to use it and show it off.

I love the ants.

With it we had a Southern classic--Pear salad. I don't know why this is good or why it works but it does. Canned pears, dollop of mayo, shredded cheese. The key is that you must use freshly shredded cheddar. The stuff in the bag just doesn't work.
